Manila Moonlight
- I smoked by the sidewalks today and watched every passer by. I never looked at faces though, just the shoes, as if they keep their secrets in their soles.
- An old Japanese man asked me for a light. He bowed his Japanese bow and that was the biggest gesture of courtesy I got from a stranger. Most of the time, strangers are nicer.
- There was a tourist couple who gave some homeless man a warm blanket and a Daniel Steel book. The neighboring homeless man was asleep, cuddling with his half empty bottle of beer.
- I don't feel well. My body hates me. I don't care that much, I'm afraid.
