Friday 666

1. Me, off to the studio; 2. Dated cobblestones in the walled city; 3. An abandoned building in Anda Street

I missed my Earl Grey.

It's another one of those days where I play pretend and walk crowded streets and night markets as if I am unfamiliar to the street signs, the lamp posts, and the lefts and rights the way I play pretend that I don't know any of the lines on your palms and the veins on your hands. But I know them all and I just love the idea that I could be lost and you'd come to find me.

Ghosts with feet

"Lovers are strangers, there's nothing to discuss. Hearts can be faithful while the truth is told to someone else."

A broken film roll, a coffee shop in the walled city, rain - unnoticed. A Frenchman who gave me a cigarette - a sweet gesture of a smoker to a fellow smoker. Suicide, a bride's broken heart, a friend on call, selfish thoughts, assurance, keeping sanity, good coffee, good beer and that good blues band.
